At least four people have been killed when a Thakurgaon-bound bus rammed into an auto-rickshaw on Rangpur-Dinajpur highway in Hajirhat area of Rangpur city on Sunday morning.
Two of the deceased were identified as Saju and Chand.
Sub-Inspector Nowshad of Taraganj Highway police outpost said the accident occurring around 7am left two auto-rickshaw passengers dead on the spot and four others injured.
The injured were taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital where two of them succumbed to injuries, reports UNB.
