At least 30 people were injured and two people went missing after a bus fell into a river in Tangail’s Madhupur.
The accident took place around 10am Tuesday, said Delwar Hossain of Madhupur Fire Service Station.
“The bus fell into Bongshai River while heading to Dhaka. Fire service personnel rescued 30 people trapped inside the bus,” he said.
The injured taken to local hospitals could not be identified immediately, said bdnews24.
There were some students inside the bus, according to the bus driver and some of the other victims.
Fire service personnel were trying to remove the bus from the scene.
