A collision between a bus and a human hauler, locally known as Laguna, left 13 people dead in Baraigram upazila of Natore on Saturday.
A private television, quoting fire service officials, says at least 20 people were also injured in the accident that took place on Natore-Pabna highway around 4:10pm.
Biplob Bijay Talukder, superintendent of Natore Police, said the accident took place when a Dhaka-bound bus of 'Challenger Paribahan' from Kushtia hit a human-hauler carrying 15 passengers.
According to UNB, 13 passengers of the human-hauler died on the spot and many passengers of the bus were injured, the police official said.
Bonpara highway police recovered the bodies.
The identities of the deceased could not be identified immediately. Rescue operation is still going on until preparing the report.
