The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has unblocked 58 websites, including some news portals.
BTRC Senior Assistant Director (Media) Jakir Hossain Khan said the websites were unblocked after 5pm on Monday as per government's directives, reports UNB.
Earlier on the day, Jakir Hossain Khan had informed the media that the BTRC on Sunday ordered the International Internet Gateway (IIG) operators to block the access to the 58 websites.
BTRC had cited security concerns for the decision without elaborating further details
