‘BSF’ shoots down another Bangladeshi in Thakurgaon

A Bangladeshi youth was shot dead allegedly by the members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) along the border in Haripur upazila on Tuesday, four days after the killing of another man by the BSF troops in Ranishankoil upazila.

The 18-year-old boy was Jenarul, son of Abdul Toaf of the upazila.

BSF members of Maldakh camp opened fire on Jenarul and some cattle traders when they gathered near border pillar no 354/1, leaving Jenarul dead on the spot, said BGB-42 Commanding Officer of Karigaon Company, Enamul Haq, according to a UNB report.

On Friday, last, Jahangir Alam Raju, 21, son of Badshah Mia of Shahanabad village in Ranishankoil upazila, was shot dead by BSF members along Dharmagarh border in the upazila.
