A Bangladeshi national was shot to death by members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) along Bhujaripara border under Dimla upazila in Nilphamari early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Khalilur Rahman, 23, son of Moksed Ali of Paschim Chatnai village in the upazila.
Subedar Mobarak Ali, company commander of Dimla camp of BGB battalion-51, said the BSF members opened fire on Khalilur when he went to the no man's land in the early hours, leaving him dead, reports UNB.
A letter was sent to BSF seeking return of the body, he said.
