The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has formed a four-member committee in every divisional city and every district headed by the divisional directors (health) and civil surgeons respectively to probe the allegations of refusal to give treatment to the non-Covid patients by the hospitals and clinics and to take appropriate actions.
The committees have already started their activities, said a DGHS report submitted to the High Court on Wednesday.
The four-member divisional committee also includes one ICU expert, one anesthesia expert and one deputy director/assistant director level official and the district committee includes one anesthesiologist, Sadar upazila health officer and one medical officer, said the report.
