The Supreme Court administration has formed a two-member committee to conduct an inquiry into the allegations of irregularities and corruption at both divisions of the apex court.

The committee has been formed on Thursday under the direction of Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique, said Md Saifur Rahman, spokesperson for the Supreme Court.

He said, “Md Abdur Rahman, Additional Registrar of the High Court Division, and Md Mizanur Rahman, Deputy Registrar (Finance) of the HC division, have been assigned for the preliminary inquiry into the allegations of irregularities and corruption in both the divisions of the Supreme Court.”

Chief Justice formed the committee seven days after taking office.
