The Bangladeshi nationals who are planning to perform Hajj and Umrah will have to go through a biometric registration process for getting a Saudi visa.
The biometric registration (fingerprints and face image) will start on Saturday next.
The Consular Section at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Dhaka issued a notification on Wednesday and sent it to all the accredited Hajj agencies.
Bangladeshi pilgrims can download the Saudi Visa Bio app from Google Play Store and Apple's App Store to submit the biometric data.
Pilgrims will not be entitled for a Saudi visa without biometric registration through the app.
