Two hajj flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines scheduled to fly on Thursday have been cancelled.
Shakil Meraj, general manager (Public Relations) of Biman , made the disclosure without assigning any reason.
The scheduled flights -- one of BG-1063 at 1:55am and the other BG- 5061 at 3:45pm-- have been cancelled, adding the tally of Biman's cancelled flights to seven, with many more likely to be postponed.
Shakil also said that 5,800 hajj flight tickets remain unsold so far, and Biman has been urging the hajj agencies to purchase them as soon as possible, reports UNB.
