Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered firearms from Pakuria Banghapara area in Kushtia’s Daulatpur upazila on Saturday night.
Acting on secret information, a BGB team conducted a drive and recovered three foreign-made pistols, four magazines, a cartridge and 10 rounds of bullet after digging soil in a bamboo orchard near pillar no. 156/6s, UNB reports.
The weapons were found in an abandoned condition, said Rashedul Haque Khan, PPMS, commanding officer of BGB-47 battalion.
