Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel recovered 53 crude bombs from a house at Jhaunia village in Chapainawabganj sadar upazila on Sunday.
Lt Col Sajjad Sarwar, commanding officer of BGB 53 battalion, said tipped off a BGB patrol team conducted a drive in the house of Jahirul Islam and recovered the bombs kept hidden under soil.
However, no body was in the house when the drive was conducted.
A case was filed in this connection.
