Belarus and Serbia have expressed their interest to strengthen relations with Bangladesh in the coming days.
Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei and First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic conveyed their interest while congratulating Dr AK Abdul Momen on his appointment as the foreign minister of Bangladesh.
In his message, the Belarusian foreign minister praised minister Dr Momen for the professionalism and rich life experience and hoped that it would allow for consecutive utilisation of the Bangladesh-Belarus cooperation potential in all areas, said the ministry of foreign affairs in city on Sunday.
The Serbian foreign minister, in his message, expressed hope that the relations between Bangladesh and Serbia would be promoted in the period ahead, in the interest of the two countries and to the benefit of the two peoples, reports UNB.
