Bangladesh may likely to expect very little improvement in the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business ranking, scheduled to be released on Wednesday evening across the world.
It means the ranking of the country may prevail very close to the last year’s position.
People familiar with the thing told FE that there is an indication that Bangladesh is likely to make a marginal jump in the latest ranking while India is likely to make a quantum jump this year as like previous year.
Bangladesh ranked 177 among 190 countries in the last year’s index which was the 15th report of the series. This year’s report will be the 16th of the series.
India ranked 100th in the last year’s index, made a big jump from 130th in 2016 index.
