Bangladesh has expressed grave concern at the recent launching of an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) by Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The government on Wednesday said by launching the missile, North Korea shown total disregard to the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
"Bangladesh would like to call upon DPRK to honor its international obligation and commitments and refrain from such show of force and defiance," the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry said in a statement, reports UNB.
As a signatory to the NPT and CTBT, Bangladesh said it would continue to work with the international community for the renunciation of the use of force in international relations and for general and complete disarmament.
