Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has lifted its expulsion order on its Kabi Sufia Kamal Hall unit president Iffat Jahan Esha.
The decision was taken in an emergency meeting after what it said she had been found 'fully not guilty' in its investigation, the student wing of the ruling Awami League said in a media statement on Friday.
The BCL had expelled her in the wee hours of Wednesday as she was alleged to have tortured the hall students who took part in the quota reformation movement.
Dhaka University also took up the same path to expel her immediately, but they are yet to take any decision to give her back studentship.
