Allah Malik Kazemi, change management adviser of the Bangladesh Bank (BB), breathed his last in a city hospital at 5:06pm on Friday.
The renowned central banker was admitted at Evercare Hospital in the capital’s Bashundhara area with heart complexity on June 22, but was later tested positive for Covid-19, a BB senior official confirmed.
"Allah Malik Kazemi was admitted to the hospital with heart complexity, but was later tested positive with coronavirus,” G.M. Abul Kalam Azad, General Manager of Department of Communications and Publications (DCP) of the BB, told the FE.
