A 59-year-old Bangladeshi man, who went to Saudi Arabia to perform the upcoming Hajj, has died in Mecca.
According to the daily Hajj bulletin from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the deceased was identified as Md Jahangir Kabir, hailing from Chapainawabganj.
Jahangir Kabir died in Mecca during his pilgrimage on Saturday, report bdnews24.com and UNB.
“The cause of death couldn’t be known immediately,” the ministry added.
