Bangladesh National Nutrition Council (BNNC) and Farming Future Bangladesh (FFB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on joint activities and information sharing to address malnutrition, food security, and agribiotechnology in the country.
The event was held at BNNC conference room, in Dhaka on Monday.
Dr Md Khalilur Rahman, director general of BNNC, and Md Arif Hossain, CEO & ED, FFB signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
The agreement provides a framework for collaborative activities and the exchange of information, technology and personnel between both organisations.
Promoting innovations, fostering the use of Agri Biotechnology, engaging youths and advocating on training, research and capacity building on nutrition are the major objectives of this MoU, read a press release.
