BAF rescues four tourists from Cox’s Bazar hilly region

Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) on Saturday rescued four tourists, who had lost their way while hiking in a remote hilly region of Cox’s Bazar’s Darianagar.

An aircraft of BAF found them after they had called the national emergency helpline 999, reports UNB.

All of the four trekkers – Misbah Uddin, Rafsan, Adhik Pal and Abir Saha – are residents of Cox’s Bazar.

They were going to Himchhari through the hills and had lost their way after crossing nine, said Captain Mamun of BAF. “We found them through network tracking.”
