The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Tuesday conducted the virtual hearing in different cases in a full-fledged manner amid the strict lockdown situation.
Justices of the Appellate Division participated in the virtual hearings from their respective residences, Md Saifur Rahman, a special officer at the High Court Division told The Financial Express.
During the hearings, the apex court disposed of two jail petition cases related to death references, he said.
Attorney general, additional attorney general and deputy attorney general attended the hearings while some lawyers of the Supreme Court also joined the hearing from their respective residences.
The officers and employees of the top court also joined from their respective houses.
