In the wake of recent tragic deaths at stone quarries, a worker was killed and another injured in a mudslide while they were extracting stones at Jaflong under Goainghat upazila in Sylhet on Saturday.
The victim was identified as Babul Khan, 40, son of Asu Khan, a resident of Mougati union in Netrakona district.
Officer-in-Charge of Goainghat police station Hillol Ray said the incident occurred at noon in Londoni Bazar area.
Police recovered the body and sent it to MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue, reports BSS.
