Two people were killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between an ambulance and a truck at Ghoga Battala on Dhaka-Bogura highway in Sherpur upazila on Friday noon.
The identities of the deceased could not be traced immediately.
Witnesses said the Naogaon-bound truck collided with the ambulance carrying the dead body of a person from Dhaka around 12 noon, leaving two ambulance inmates dead on spot and three others injured.
The bodies were sent to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for autopsy, said Aziz Mandol, in-charge of the hospital's police camp, reports UNB.
