The annual holy Urs of Alhaz Hazrat Shah Sufi Sayed Hamidullah (RA) will be held at Mia Shaheb's Maidan Darbar Sharif in Luxmibazar area of Old Dhaka on Tuesday.
A day-long programme, including qurankhwani, waz mahfil, and milad, has been chalked up on the occasion, according to a media statement.
On the day, the organisers will also put a new Gilab on the mazar.
Among others featuring the day-long event are hamd, naat and discussion on the life and activities of Sayed Hamidullah (RA), widely known as 8th Gaddinissian Pir of this Khankah Sharif, after fazr prayers.
The programme will begin through the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Hafez Faruq.
Pirjada Syed Abdus Salam will conduct the milad mahfil, scheduled to held after Asha prayers.
Present Pir (ninth gaddinashin) and fifth mutqwalli of Hazrat Abu Yousuf Abdullah (RA) Waqf Estate and director of Shah Saheb Bari Jame masjid Hazrat Shah Sufi syed ahamadur rahim (damat barakatuhum) will conduct the akheri munajat.
Later the tabarak will be distributed among the devotees.
Convener of the programme Sayed Toyab Morshed Araf has invited all to attend the function.
