Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Takehiko Nakao on Thursday greeted Sheikh Hasina on her appointment as the Bangladesh Prime Minister for the fourth term.
A two-member ADB team, comprising its Bangladesh country director Manmohan Prakash and head of the External Relations Gobinda Bar, handed over an appreciation letter of the ADB president to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office in the city.
In the letter, the ABD president appreciated Bangladesh’s rapid progress in all the areas of development over the last 10 years under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Nakao reiterated the Bank’s strong support to Bangladesh’s efforts to poverty alleviation, socioeconomic development and nation building activities, reports BSS.
