ACC to grill CAAB’s chief engineer Sunday

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) will interrogate the chief engineer of Civil Aviation Authority Bangladesh (CAAB) on Sunday for alleged irregularities, corruption and embezzlement of funds.

Sudhendu Bikash Goswami will have to appear at the ACC head office in Dhaka city at 10:00 am with required documents, said its Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya on Saturday.

He is due to be quizzed by the anti-graft body on Tuesday too.

According to the ACC, Sudhendu amassed a huge amount of money through irregularities and corruption in maintenance, construction and purchase work, UNB reported.

On October 19 last year, the ACC interrogated two CAAB engineers, including its chief engineer, for their suspected involvement in corruption.
