ACC detains CAAB executive engineer

The Anti-Corruption Commission arrested an engineer of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh or CAAB over having Tk 20 million in assets in excess of known sources of income.

“Asir Uddin is accused of having over Tk 20 million in assets beyond known sources of his income,” ACC Deputy Director (Public Relations) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told.

“He has been detained in connection with an ACC case on the matter.”

According to bdnews24 the executive engineer is in ACC custody and will be taken to court on Tuesday afternoon, he said
