The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmood on Thursday said each government office can establish ‘honesty corner’ to make their employees morally sound and sophisticated.
The chairman made the remarks after visiting at the honesty corner at the Bangladesh- UNESCO National Commission office at Bangladesh Bureau of Educational Information and Statistics (BANBEIS) Bhaban in the capital.
He said the anti-graft watchdog is establishing “Stata" (honesty) stores alongside ‘Integrity Unit’( Stata Sangha) in 33,000 educational institutions in the country.
The institutions, which have already set up integrity units, have begun establishing honesty stores.
Every institution will get Tk 20,000 to Tk30, 000 as support to set up the honesty store, the chairman said.
