The bank account details of eight social networking platforms have been sought from all banks.
The platforms are - RingID Distribution Limited, RingID BD Limited, Tiktok, Streamkar, Teen Patti, Treasure Hunt, Lucky Paisa and Cricket Stars.
The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), the intelligence agency of the country's financial sector, recently sought information on the platforms by sending a letter to all the banks.
The BFIU asked the banks to inform if there were any bank accounts belonging to the organisations by sending their account opening forms, know your customer (KYC) profile forms, and transaction details.
In the letter, the address of RingID Distribution was given as House 57 of Niketon area in the capital, while the address of RingID BD was Khaja Tower at Mohakhali.
However, addresses of other platforms were not mentioned in the letter.
