The 95th birth anniversary of late Mirza Mehdy Ispahani was observed through a programme at Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School on Monday, says a statement.
The programme includes recitation from the holy Quran, dua mahfil and a commemorative meeting.
Mirza Mehdy Ispahani, who was a renowned industrialist, educationist and chairman of MM Ispahani Limited, founded Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School.
Students of Mirza Mehdy Ispahani House of the school published a wall magazine marking the day.
SM Mojibur Rahman, headmaster of the school, presided over the meeting.
The programme ended with all participants praying for the eternal peace of his departed soul.
