Police have arrested 70 drug users and sellers in raids in Dhaka.
According to Dhaka Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner Md Masudur Rahman, they were arrested in various operations on Sunday from different places of the city.
Police have recovered 5,947 yaba tablets, 807 rolls of heroin, marijuana, Phensedyl, alcohol and other injectable drugs, Masudur added.
“Fifty-three cases under the drug control act have been filed at the relevant police stations,” he added, reports bdnews24.
