As many as 517 more diarrhoea patients were admitted to the icddr,b, an international health research institute in Dhaka, in the last 15 hours till 3:00 pm on Sunday.
AKM Tariful Islam Khan, media manager of icddr,b, confirmed this to The Financial Express (FE).
“The growing number of diarrhoea patients is on the declining trend,” he added.
A total of 953 patients were hospitalised on Saturday while 839 patients were hospitalised on Friday.
Some 916 patients were admitted on Thursday.
As many as 803 patients were hospitalised on Wednesday, while at least 934 diarrhoea patients were admitted to the hospital on Tuesday.
