Water levels in 49 rivers stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise and 36 stations recorded fall.
Among the 94 monitored water level stations, six are steady, a bulletin issued by FFWC said on Tuesday.
All the major rivers are flowing below their respective danger levels.
The Brahmaputra-Jamuna rivers are in rising which may continue in next 48 hours.
The Ganges-Padma rivers are in rising trend which may continue in next 72 hours.
The Surma river of the upper Meghna basin is in rising trend. The major rivers of this basin may fall in next 24 hours.
A total of 125 mm rainfall was recorded during last 24 hours ending at 6:00am today at Jariajanjail, 93 mm at Sylhet, 87 mm at Kanaighat, 85 mm at Sunamganj, 76 mm at Dakhinbagh, 66 mm at Chattak, 61 mm at Durgapur, 59 mm at Noakhali and 50 mm at Dewanganj and Bandarban, reports BSS.
