Police arrested 31 Rohingya people, including six women and 18 children, from Eidgah road intersection in Cumilla on Thursday.
Md Salahuddin, inspector of Kotwali Model Police station, said on information, a team of police conducted a drive in the area at noon and arrested them.
The Rohingya people fled Myanmar three years ago and took shelter in India. They came to Cumilla crossing Indian border to go to Cox's Bazar as their relatives are staying there, said the inspector, reports UNB.
