A total of 30 prisoners died in different jails across the country during January to June period of this year, according to an independent rights body.
Among them, 20 were under trial prisoners and 10 others were convicted prisoners, Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) said in a report published recently.
A total of 74 people died in jail custody in the country in 2018, the rights body revealed.
Of them, 45 were under trials and 29 convicts, the ASK report added.
