29 int'l flights miss departure schedules at Shahjalal airport

At least 29 international flights failed to meet their departure schedules at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in the capital on Saturday.

From 12:00am to 12:30pm, 29 international flights were late for 15 minutes to nearly one hour and 23 minutes than their original departure times, said sources at Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).

Of them, Turkish was scheduled to leave for Istanbul at 7:25 am, but it departed at 7:52 am, making a 27-minute late.

G9 departed for Sharjah at 8:33, making 48-minute late.

Qatar Airways took off for Doha, making one hour and 23 minutes late.

BG 084 also departed the airport for Singapore, making 47-minutes late.

Besides, BG128 from Abu Dhabi arrived there at 8:48am, which was scheduled to arrive at 8:00am, making 48 minutes late.

From 12:00am to 12:30pm, 27 international flights landed the airport maintaining their arrival schedules, the sources added.
