Some 239 children were killed between January and July of the current calendar year, according to a report by local independent rights and legal aid body.
Of them, 25 children were killed after being raped, said the report by Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK).
Out of the total, 49 children were aged below six and 48 were aged between 7 to 12 while, it added.
Six committed suicide after being raped, disclosed the data.
Four mysterious deaths occurred during the aforementioned period, said ASK.
96 cases were filed in connection with the incidents, the rights body reported.
ASK report also revealed that some 521 children were killed in 2018.
