At least 20 shops were gutted as a fire broke out at a market in central bus terminal area of Kurigram town early Sunday.
Monzil Haque, deputy assistant director of Kurigram Fire Service, said the fire broke out at the tin-shed market around 1:30am.
On information, three fire-fighting units rushed in and doused the fire after two and half hours of frantic effort, reports UNB.
