At least 127 women were sexually harassed and eight committed suicide in the first six months of the calendar year, according to a local independent rights body.
The Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) report noted that of them, 117 were assaulted by stalkers and six got injured during the clashes arisen from stalking.
The data also revealed that 116 women were sexually harassed in 2018.
Of them, eight committed suicide, three were murdered due to the protest and 97 were assaulted by stalkers.
