Twelve more Covid-19 related deaths were reported at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) in the last 24 hours till Sunday morning as the country is witnessing a devastating 2nd wave of the virus.
One of them tested positive for Covid-19 while the remaining 11 died with symptoms.
Director General of the hospital Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani, said six of the patients were from Rajshahi, three were from Chapainawabganj and one each from Natore, Naogaon, Pabna districts.
In the past 24 hours, 77 people were admitted to the hospital with Covid-19 complications and 64 tested positive, said the director, reports UNB.
