10-member committee formed for monitoring DNCC cattle market ahead of Eid

A 10-member committee has been formed by the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) to monitor the proper implementation of health guidelines and other conditions at the sacrificial cattle markets.

Councilor for Ward-19 Md. Mofizur Rahman has been made as the convener of the committee. The other members are Councilor Md. Afsar Uddin Khan for Ward -1; Councilor Md. Ismail Mollah for Ward-13; Councilor Md. Humayun Rashid for Ward-14; Councilor Md. Ishaq Miah for Ward-17; Councilor Md. Zakir Hossain for Ward-18; Councilor Syed Hasan Nur Islam Ward-32; Councilor Jahangir Hossain for Ward-54; councilor of 10th reserved seat Hamida Akhter Mita; And councilor of the 17th reserved seat Zakia Sultana.

Besides, one mobile court will be conducted in each market to ensure compliance with hygiene and other conditions at the cattle markets.
