Vacancy Type: Advisor - Energy Policy
Job Responsibilities:

Managing an area of responsibility that forms part of the programme objectives, team agreements and/or agreements with the superior.

Assisting project/programme initiatives to provide professional advisory services to and cooperate with a broad range of target groups.

Advise supervisor on all tasks when implementing GIZ rules and regulation.

Advise supervisor in the field of project's planning, steering and monitoring.

Independently implement goals and requirements set by the line manager.

Make decisions which have a short-term effect within a limited project area/ unit.

Assist supervisor to identify day to day problems and suggest appropriate solutions.

Educational Requirements:

Minimum Graduates from Engineering / Economics/ public policy / relevant discipline and with master’s in business administration/ energy policy /renewable energy from reputed institutions.
Experience Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in power and energy sector including at least 3 years in energy policy analysis
-
Experience of working closely with Government of Bangladesh (GOB) as well as with International organizations will be considered as an asset
-
Knowledge in the field of Bangladesh power sector, energy policy and relevant government institutions is required.
