The Project Management Support Officer will work under the guidance and supervision of the Senior Project Manager(SPM) for UNOPS Emergency Health Procurement while working closely with the Head of Support Services (HOSS) in the Hub as well as the UNOPS Procurement and Finance team in Sri-lanka.

S/he shall provide support to the delivery of the health procurement implementation, finance and HR for the projects, specifically the incumbent will be responsible for the following non-exhaustive substantive tasks which can be expanded by the project/supervisor as and when needed.

Education Required:

A Master’s Degree in a relevant field e.g. Business Administration, Procurement/Logistics, Emergency Management, International Relations or any other suitable discipline.

A combination of a Bachelor's degree with an additional 2 years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the education requirements outlined above.
Experience Required:
-
A minimum of 2 years of relevant and progressive professional experience in the field of Project Management and/or Operations Management/Support Services with a focus on monitoring, reporting and coordination.

Experience in international procurement/Logistics management will be an asset.

Experience and demonstrated knowledge of UN rules and procedures in Procurement, Logistics, Finance and HR Management will be an advantage.
