Anti-drug campaign launched

An anti-drug campaign was launched Monday at the Banani RAJUK field (Puja Field) by Prottoy Medical Clinic Ltd. The event is a part of anti-drug awareness campaign launched on November 15, 2017 which was inaugurated by minister for law, justice and parliamentary affairs Anisul Huq and Captain of Bangladesh National ODI Cricket team Mashrafe Mortaza.

People from all walks of life gathered in numbers to show their solidarity with the cause through mass sign up and video oath taking, said a statement.

At the end of the event all the participants took oath to to combat drug abuse together by lighting up candles.

 

Since the launching of the campaign on 15th November, prottoy has organized awareness campaign among the students of two universities, one medical college, two colleges and three schools in 45 days.

A special campaign was also organized on the premises of National Mausoleum on the last Victory Day (December 16, 2017).

More than 15 celebrities of the country joined in the campaign. Nearly 0.1 million people are now digitally supporting this campaign.
