What to watch in March - TV shows that you cannot miss

Spring is here and with it comes a plethora of new TV shows to binge-watch. If you’re searching for a fresh batch of crops to satisfy your daily dose of entertainment needs till the summer sun starts peeking through the clouds, here is a list of three must- watch series of this month.

Bridgerton

Bridgerton craze swept the world around Christmas 2020. Set on Julia Quinn's novel series, the scandalous Regency-era costume drama swiftly became Netflix's most-watched series and developed a passionate fanbase.

The first season put the relationship of Daphne Bridgerton and the Duke of Hastings against the setting of the sumptuous drama of British high society, as given by the show's storyteller, mysterious journalist Lady Whistledown.

The real identity of this  Gossip Girl was exposed at the end of the first season, so make sure you've watched all previous episodes before beginning the second.

This one will center on Daphne's elder brother Anthony and his love hunt. Bridgerton Season 2 premieres on Netflix on March 25th.

The Moon Knight

The number of renowned actors who haven't appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is shrinking. And if you are keeping a tab, you can check off Oscar Isaac, who plays the main character in this upcoming Marvel TV series.

Steven Grant, a quintessential worker at a London Museum gift store, is the alter-ego of Moon Knight. Grant is afflicted with dissociative identity disorder after having blackouts and recollections he doesn't recognise - and realises he shares a body with a mercenary named Marc Spector.

The superhero debuted in Marvel comics in the 1970s, and in this series, Moon Knight will face up against none other than Egypt's great Gods. Moon Knight will be available on Disney+ on March 30th.

Life & Beth

In this touching comedy, Amy Schumer plays the titular Beth. She lives in New York, working for a winery, has a boyfriend (Kevin Kane), and has a strained relationship with her mother (Laura Benanti) and younger sister (Susannah Flood).

However, following a sad event in the season opener, Beth returns to Long Island to reassess her life, confront her history, and seek a path to move ahead and toward a brighter existence.

The plot seems pretty serious, and it is, but with Schumer at the lead, Life & Beth promises to be full of wonderfully honest and emotional moments. Hulu will release all ten episodes on March 18th.
