Top 5 movies to watch this month

The month of March is, like the other months, filled with lots of exciting movie releases in theatres and on the OTT platforms. If you are wondering what to watch, here is a recommendation list for you, with 5 most anticipated movies to be released this month.

The Batman

The Batman is a DC superhero criminal action drama produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and based on the DC Comics. Matt Reeves directed the movie, and he co-wrote the screenplay with Peter Craig. The movie delves deeper into Batman's detective side than earlier instalments.

When a vicious killer targets elite Gotham City citizens, leaving behind a trail of cryptic hints, Batman delves into Gotham City's underground during his second year of battling crime.

As he uncovers wrongdoing linked to his own family during the inquiry, the scope of the perpetrator's objectives becomes obvious, and he is forced to form new alliances in order to apprehend the Riddler and serve justice to the city's long history of power misuse and corruption.

It is the most realistic, gloomy, and gritty portrayal of Batman, according to the filmmaker, that deals with the psychological components of the character at this point in the plot.

This is unquestionably one of the most anticipated films of 2022. The expectation is out of this world, with fans eager to see Batman in a detective role. The movie is already in Theatres in Bangladesh, and the response from the fans is tremendous.

The Adam Project

Prestigious actors like Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo star in upcoming Shawn Levy directed netflix original sci-fi action comedy, The Adam Project.

After crash-landing in 2022, time-travelling combat pilot Adam Reed (Reynolds) creates a triumvirate with his younger self and his dead father (Ruffalo) on a quest to preserve the future.

This film is a wonderful homage to sci-fi adventures from the 1980s. On social media, some have compared it to a mash-up of Star Wars and Back To The Future, from the trailers itself.

Turning Red

Turning Red is a film set in Toronto between 2002 and 2003 about Meilin ‘Mei’ Lee (Chiang), a self-assured 13-year-old Chinese-Canadian who is divided between becoming her mother's obedient daughter and the turmoil of puberty.

However, she is shocked to realise that she has transformed into a big red panda one day after witnessing a horror dream, later realising that her family have a common heritage with the species.

And, as if the shifts in her passions, relationships, and body weren't enough, she ‘fluffs’ into the enormous red panda anytime she gets too anxious or thrilled.

Rescued by Ruby

Netflix’s biographical drama, Rescued by Ruby, is directed by Katt Shea where Grant Gustin plays the role of a state trooper who wishes to join the state police's K-9 Search and Rescue team, but no one will grant him the opportunity.

Ruby, a shelter dog, longs for a home but is running out of patience. When fate pulls Dan and Ruby together, their unbreakable relationship aids them in facing their most difficult battle yet.

When she arrives, she learns that the island is closed for the season and the bridges have been lifted until Spring, leaving her trapped.
