Top 5 K-dramas of 2022 for binge watching on Christmas

Squid game standing on the ladder for such a protracted time took K-Drama to another ridge. Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime are too instilled in these dramas. And what is grasping such a gigantic audience?

Well, not-so-cliche plots, mesmerising storyline, a slice-of-life genre, out-of-the-box vision, attractive main leads, and unprecedented performance are enough to catch global attention. The punchline and the twists are enough to uplift your mood instantly.

Though 2021 was a major year for K-drama land for Squid game, 2022 isn't anything less. We have curated the top 5 Netflix launched K-Dramas that are binge-worthy.

In this holiday season of Christmas, here are some binge-worthy suggestions for you.

Twenty-Five, Twenty-One: Starring Kim Tae-ri as Na Hee Do and Nam Joo-hyuk as Baek Yi-Jin, this drama sums up a '90s love story when South Korea suffered from the Asian financial crisis.

This drama's plot is how this incident ripped off the ambitions and expectancies of these lead teenagers by changing their culture and economy. This drama acknowledges the emotional narration of love and friendship, making it the highest-rated and most addictive K-Drama of 2022.

A Business Proposal:

A webtoon named A Business Proposal, this drama is a pure rom-com revolving around Shin Ha-ri, a food researcher, who proceeds on a blind date for her best friend, only to know that her date is none but the CEO( Kang Tae-moo), for the company she works for.

The struggling journey of her not revealing her identity and working in the same company is enough to make you laugh. Based on everyone's fav genre, CEO falling for an executive, this drama surely is a cult classic.

Ghost Doctor:

Based on the term coma ghost, this drama's plot is way too uncommon. What if two polar opposite souls have to share a body?

Well, to spill the beans, Cha Young-Min couldn't be more genius, yet an arrogant cardiothoracic who somehow got into a car accident and started to roam around the hospital only to get possession of a clumsy first-year student (Go Seung-tak) who is the polar opposite of him. And that needs no say that Go is now supernaturally able to conduct difficult surgeries with his coma ghost.

All of Us Are Dead: True successor of Squid Game, this zombie-based series debuted on Netflix in mid-January and attained global attention for the plot. And viewers couldn't be more excited for the second season, which is on the way.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo:

Not based on a cliche plot, this drama is a fresh spin adding another genre, where the story revolves around a mentally challenged lawyer Woo Young-woo, who has an extremely high IQ of 164, a photographic memory, and joins a prestigious law firm.

Her everyday challenges, courtroom presence and handling of clients are inspiring to watch. Though this drama is packed into 16 episodes, it became Netflix's sixth most-viewed non-English drama.

This drama initially teaches neurodivergence, a slap to society, as they didn’t want to be special, so what's to apologise for?
