Just after winning his first World Series victory with the Houston Astros, Major League baseball player Justin Verlander is celebrating another major victory as he and supermodel Kate Upton are officially married now.
The Verlanders exchanged I Dos in a lavish Italian wedding ceremony at an old church at the Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco resort in Italy.
Kate wore a beautiful white dress with lace sleeves and wore her hair in a side part with loose waves and a veil pinned in the back, said an eye witness.
The 34-year-old Verlander skipped the championship parade in Houston on Friday. Instead, he and Upton jetted off to Italy to kick off the wedding festivities.
The couple got engaged in May 2016. Her engagement ring was estimated to be worth $1.5 million, according to global media reports.
