As the list of Hollywood personalities who have been accused of sexual harassment grows, an unusual entry has been added to the list.
According to The Washington Post, this newest entry into the list is Mariah Carey. This pop icon of the 1980s has been accused of sexual harassment by her former personal security, Michael Anello.
This is part of a growing list that includes Academy award-winning Director Harvey Weinstein, Actor Kevin Spacey, director-screenwriter James Toback, former US president George H.W. Bush, Actor Ben Affleck, fired Nickelodeon creator Chris Savino, and many more.
The common denominator was that, till now, all the accused were men. That is until Mariah Carey.
Anello has accused the star of behaving in a sexual way towards hiAnellom. He also accused Carey of denigrating him by calling him a skinhead, a Nazi and a white supremacist.
The sexual harassment claim also involves an allegation from Anello that he was subject to an unwelcome advance when he helped Carey move luggage into her hotel room. Anello is threatening to sue for $220,000 while Carey's spokespeople have yet to make any comment on the claims.
