In October of this year, more than 80 women in Hollywood had come forward and accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault and harassment.

Weinstein is one of the most prominent producers in the industry who produced such films as Gangs of New York, Malena, Kill Bill and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

Following the allegations, he was fired from his own company, The Weinstein Company. He was also expelled from professional associations such as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Criminal investigations against Weinstein have started in London, New York City, and Los Angeles.

The scandal triggered other allegations of similar misconduct by powerful men in the industry and led a great number of men an d women to share their own experiences of sexual assault, harassment or rape on social media.

Here is a list of other men who recently have been accused of such assaults:

Kevin Spacey

Actor Anthony Rapp came forward with allegations that veteran actor Kevin Spacey made an unwanted sexual advance toward him. This happened at a party more than 30 years ago, when Rapp was just 14 years old, and Spacey was 26.

Shortly after Rapp’s allegation, other men have also come forward with similar allegations. Following these allegations, Netflix announced that ‘House of Cards’ production would be suspended until further notice, to review the current situation and address the concerns of cast and crew.
The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences also announced the withdrawal of a special Emmy Award that Spacey was to receive on November 20th.

Dustin Hoffman

Author Anna Graham Hunter recently wrote in a guest column of The
Hollywood Reporter that Oscar-winning actor Dustin Hoffman sexually harassed her when she was a 17-year-old. At the time she was an intern working as his production assistant.

Louis C.K.

In a New York Times investigation, three women alleged that the comedian behaved inappropriately in front of them. Two others claimed that the Lucky Louie star made unwanted sexual advances towards them.

Steven Seagal

Actress Portia de Rossi alleged on Twitter that the Above the Law actor made unwanted sexual advances during an audition. The Good Wife star Julianna Margulies made similar allegations in an interview on November 3rd. Seagal has faced other allegations dating back to at least 1998.

Brett Ratner

The Los Angeles Times published a story recently where six women including actresses Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge have accused the 'Rush Hour' director of sexually harassing or assaulting them.
